Company Visit to Hong Kong Disneyland for the Celebration of 100 Years of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue “Dream Makers”

The MScMCE students and the Programme team were honored to be invited to participate in the Celebration of 100 Years of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue, titled ‘Dream Makers,’ on 15 October 2023.

Students and the Programme team were thrilled to have the unique opportunity to deeply engage with Walt Disney’s visionary spirit and creative genius through an enlightening fireside chat led by  the speakers. Ms. Ali Rubinstein, Senior Vice President, Executive Global Management, Creative Development of Walt Disney Imagineering, Mr. Edward Ovalle, Archives Manager at Walt Disney Archives, and Mr. Michael Moriarty, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, shared about Walt Disney as a person, entrepreneur, innovator, and storyteller. This immersive experience allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of Disney’s remarkable legacy and the impact of his contributions.

Last but not least, the unveiling ceremony of one-of-a-kind Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue “Dream Makers” was truly memorable. We were delighted to have the chance to capture selfies with Mr. Michael Moriarty and the two ambassadors, creating lasting memories of this remarkable event.
